Bio

Aaron Rudderow is an accomplished drummer and composer whose unique and incredibly versatile playing style is evident in his music. Rudderow performs and composes with fierce intensity while also possessing an unmistakably delicate voice in each aspect of his work.

In 2022, Rudderow headlined a performance with his quartet at the Yocum Institute for Arts Education featuring a handful of original compositions. In 2023, he shared the stage with some of today's most influential artists including GRAMMY Award winning trumpeter John Daversa and composer Jihye Lee.

In April of 2024, Rudderow released his debut album "In The Clouds" that featured Justin Morell on guitar, Jeff Lovell on keys, Jacob McGovern on sax and Steve Meashey on bass. Later that year in November, Rudderow released a second record entitled "You're Not My Mom", featuring Justin Morell, Tom Strogman, Jeff Lovell and Tim Wolfe. 

Rudderow has also been featured on other records during the year. One of them, "Vicious Fishes" is Valley Jazz Orchestra's (of LVC) debut album and features original big band compositions by Justin Morell. Another, "Room 64" by Jacob McGovern, also features Aaron on "Breaking and Entering" and "Intersection of Hypocrisy and Theocracy".
